Stained-Glass Film − Interior Design Photos

The stained-glass is a wonderful product of design, whose age is more than one hundred years. Masters, who at that time had not even heard of the word "design" were creating real fairy tale, which even today cannot afford many specialists of the interior.

Stained-glasses are still used in the modern design. However, due to the complexity of creation and production process, this way of interior styling is considered a real luxury, which is falling to share to the people who can afford it. At the same time, thanks to the modern technology, today there are so-called stained-glass films for the usual glass. Using such a film the ordinary clear glass can be converted in the most genuine stained-glass artwork. From a visual point of view, the original stained-glass and the glass coated with stained-glass film is no different. Of course, on closer inspection, and to the touch, such glasses are very different, but the main thing in it − a visual effect, which is, in fact, identical.

Naturally, today an imitation of stained-glass evokes the perplexity of a certain part of the people, especially among those who can afford to the real stained-glass. However, the film, as opposed to the glass, has the following advantages:

- low cost (in fact, there is an opportunity to buy a stained-glass film at absolutely affordable price in any hardware store);
- practicality and ease of application to the glass;
- you can purchase any film's size (unlike the glass, which it is necessary precisely adjusting);
- not afraid chemical and physical effects.

Indeed, the stained-glass film is very resistant to moisture, salinity, ultraviolet rays and so on. On the surface of the glass, it can serve for a very long time, without loss of color. And if the color nevertheless was lost − faded or fading, there is nothing stopping to go to the store and buy a new stained-glass film, and taking an opportunity you can stay at some other film's figure.

And there is one more significant advantage of stained-glass film. For example, if the glass will be broken, the film, which has been applied to it, will securely hold the glass fragments, and they will not be scattered. Or, at least, they will not crumble as much as it would have been without it. In the case of applying the film on the acrylic or tempered glass, their strength is increased by several times. Now, we offer you the photos of the film stained-glass in the interior design.
